Use your FREE reindeer stencil in your die-cutting machine

Free reindeer embossing stencil with cardmaking & Papercraft issue 123

Make the most of your fabulous festive reindeer embossing stencil by using it to emboss in your die-cutting machine! You’ll be able to use it in most die-cutting machines, so check the instruction manual of yours to be sure.

For the Cuttlebug, Big Shot and Grand Calibur, here are the sandwiches you can use to get great results, quickly and easily embossing lots of reindeer for your Christmas cards this year!

Cuttlebug sandwich to emboss the reindeer stencil

Use the following sequence of plates (bottom up)-

A plate

B plate

Cardstock to be embossed (face down)

Shim – a layer of card to ‘pad’ out the sandwich. Maybe you’ll need two layers of card to increase your shim… practice to see the right depth of shim needed (but never strain or force the sandwich if it’s too thick for your Cuttlebug!)

I used the free reindeer stencil with my bigshot as directed but found that all the silvering came off on to my paper! Very disappointing.

I too used it with big shot and also found the silver has partially come off, so will try to

remove the rest of the coating before having another attempt.
